Water under the Bridge

Talking to a few colleagues about how we felt/feel about our situation in light of the pandemic. .
To say the least it's been quite challenging balancing every aspect of life. .
We've noticed a shift in the past weeks as we find our bearings and feel a sense of control

As we hear that stores are opening, we sit in traffic.

The distractions start to make noise.
.
We sat there and talking about baring witness to the disparities in healthcare and the structural injustices that have been poorly addressed on a global and local scale.
.
The incredible value each member of our team brings
.
We argue about who should be deemed a "hero" when really we need to look around and realize we are all just people.
.
Contributing the best way we know how to. Many who have been working in silence, fighting on the front lines for years. .
It's not about praise.
.
It's about advocating for;
Strengthening our social systems, closing the gap in socioeconomic disparities.Distributing resources appropriately. Focusing on education and sharing evidence based knowledge.

Interesting times.
